Our final day began at 2:30am. For some it may have just been a continuation of the day before, but all were accounted for and the bus was loaded and off we went to the airport.

Our departure from Berlin Airport was not nearly as smooth as our arrival had been just 13 days ago, as it took us roughly three hours to make to our departure gate. We were met with long lines getting through bag check. We packed our patience and followed the process.

Excitement, anticipation, eagerness to learn, anxiety, and uncertainty, are now replaced by feelings of missing loved ones, mental and emotional exhaustion, soreness, and intense reflections. The travel day consisted of a 2-hour flight from Berlin to Paris and then a 10-hour flight to Los Angeles.

This trip has been a life changing experience that has provided friendships, insight, knowledge, exposure, and the character needed for us to further build upon our leadership journeys. We hope you enjoyed reading our blog about our journey as much as we did living it. We are all incredibly grateful to those who have contributed to making this trip happen: California Ag leadership Foundation donors, staff, faculty, board members, committee members, and alumni. Without you, this life changing experience would not have happened. We each come home impacted and are committed to use the knowledge gained and leadership lessons learned to make a difference. We would like to thank our family, friends, employers, and fellow co-workers who stepped up in our absence to take care of countless responsibilities. The trip was an incredibly humbling experience, one of which none of us will ever forget. THANK YOU!
Class 50 will leave you with some final reflections from our International Seminar in Germany, Poland the Czech Republic.
